How did you both feel about the idea of doing Frankenstein?
“Then when I heard Dan was involved, I thought, “It’s gonna be good”, because Dan’s work has been so interesting and of such a high quality so I got really excited.” - James McAvoy
“But when I met James… I had grown up watching Inside I’m Dancing, Atonement, The Last King of Scotland… he was somebody I always really looked up to so I think easily the first week or two it was just a lot of me being like, “Oh my god, he’s so good.” - Daniel Radcliffe
Had you met before being cast?
“I don’t think we had. I just watched you.” - Daniel Radcliffe
“I remember there was a time when we were making X-Men: First Class in Pinewood and you came by - I think to say hi to Nick (Hoult) and I saw you there, but I didn’t want to come over because I had this weird thing, like, “Ah, man, he always gets crowded, I don’t wanna be crowding him.” I think we first met when we were rehearsing with Paul (McGuigan, director) in New York.” - James McAvoy
“Yeah, going through the script.” - Daniel Radcliffe
“It was a really, really good week.” - James McAvoy

Daniel Radcliffe: EW's 2011 Entertainer of the Year
Congrats Daniel Radcliffe! Entertainment Weekly revealed today (via Good Morning America) that Daniel has their number one spot of Entertainer of the Year. Daniel will be featured on the cover of their next issue. The New Entertainment Weekly, will be on stands this Friday 9th December. More photos by Martin Schoeller here.
EW editor Jess Cagle said on Good Morning America that "Dan" deserved it.
"Ultimately there was one person who made the most sense." Cagle added that Radcliffe is "the nicest guy with one of the brightest futures in Hollywood. There's nothing he can't do."
"He's really interested in doing the work. Despite all his wealth and fame as a teenager, he never derailed. He was never busted. Never went outside without his panties on."
Entertainment Weekly photoshoot + (young) Daniel Radcliffe on the cover
Well a huge thanks to TomFeltonNet on Twitter for letting me know about these great photos of the new July (special!) issues of Entertainment Weekly. With a young Daniel on the cover! Daniel 10 years ago. Photos by Martin Schoeller.
What will this "special Collector's Double issue" include
• Profiles of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, complete with original photography. “I have spent more of my life being someone else than I have being myself,” says Watson. The 21-year-old remembers how she used to exasperate the crew at Leavesden Studios by wandering around when she wasn’t shooting. “There was an orchard, a line of apple trees, on one side of the grounds. I would go down and walk around there. Those poor ADs! They must have had nervous breakdowns whenever I would disappear.”

Updated: Interview: Dan and Emma talk Deathly Hallows part 1 TU magazine (Mexico)
In a new interview with Tu magazine, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson spoke about filming the kiss scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, their on-screen relationship, and meeting J.K. Rowling. That can be read below, courtesy of HPLA.
Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel Radcliffe
You looked a little nervous while filming the kissing scene. Why? Every teenager in the world wants to kiss you!
Really? Well, Harry was nervous. He’s shy and quiet. In this scene he’s supposed to be sad because he knows he has to leave, and he has to leave Ginny, it’s probably the last time he sees her. He’s feeling melancholic.
If you don’t mind kissing your co-star, is there something that makes you nervous during filming?
I try to relax myself on set, but I’m always a little worried and at the same time excited because I have to film these important scenes, but I think it’s normal. There must be a level of concern, always, because you feel excited and that makes you want to do your best. So I don’t think it’s a bad thing that I feel nervous before filming certain scenes.
