A24 acquired US distribution rights to Swiss Army Man
Variety is exclusively reporting that A24 has the North Americans (US) distribution rights to Swiss Army Man. After the premiere last Friday at the Sundance Film Festival it became one of the festival’s most talked-about titles. Here's a review from Filmmaker magazine.
A24 is planning a release over the Summer. Variety's article is also shared on Daniel's official Google+ page.

Daniel visits Hamilton on Broadway
Daniel visited Hamilton the musical on Broadway yesterday and also was backstage to meet Lin-Manuel Miranda. He did share the following photo via Twitter. While Daniel was backstage he predicted which Hogwart's house he thinks Alexander Hamilton would belong to.
Photo: Twitter/Lin-Manuel MirandaI asked this nice young man how he'd sort Hamilton at Hogwarts.
— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) January 27, 2016
His answer: "Ravenclaw. Definitely."

Updated(2): "Swiss Army Man" portrait sessions (Sundance Film Festival)
Swiss Army Man synopsis and still
Synopsis:
Alone on a tiny deserted island, Hank has given up all hope of ever making it home again. But one day everything changes when a dead body washes ashore, and he soon realizes it may be his last opportunity to escape certain death. After befriending the corpse and gradually discovering his special powers, the duo go on an epic adventure to bring Hank back to the woman of his dreams. Music video gurus DANIELS, a.k.a. Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan, craft a wholly original debut feature bursting with limitless creativity both in content and form. Their consistently surprising script spans a wide range of emotions: from the ridiculously absurd to a touching exploration of what it means to be human. Not to mention, it's a musical. Given what are likely to be some of the most unique roles of their acting careers, co-leads Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe give their all to a movie that celebrates the wonder that cinema offers.

Updated: Alan Rickman has died aged 69
Update: The photo I added below is also shared on Daniel's Google+ with a message from Daniel which I have posted below.
Daniel was among the first to pay tribute (read the tweets from J.K. Rowling: part 1 | part 2) with the following statement on his official Google+ page:
"Alan Rickman is undoubtedly one of the greatest actors I will ever work with. He is also, one of the loyalest and most supportive people I've ever met in the film industry. He was so encouraging of me both on set and in the years post-Potter. I'm pretty sure he came and saw everything I ever did on stage both in London and New York. He didn't have to do that. I know other people who've been friends with him for much much longer than I have and they all say "if you call Alan, it doesn't matter where in the world he is or how busy he is with what he's doing, he'll get back to you within a day".
People create perceptions of actors based on the parts they played so it might surprise some people to learn that contrary to some of the sterner(or downright scary) characters he played, Alan was extremely kind, generous, self-deprecating and funny. And certain things obviously became even funnier when delivered in his unmistakable double-bass.
As an actor he was one of the first of the adults on Potter to treat me like a peer rather than a child. Working with him at such a formative age was incredibly important and I will carry the lessons he taught me for the rest of my life and career. Film sets and theatre stages are all far poorer for the loss of this great actor and man.
I like this photo. It was taken, if I'm not mistaken, while rehearsing a scene where Alan clipped me and Rupert round the back of a head with a book. We all, apparently, found this hard to do without laughing".And then there is also a cartoon from The New Yorker.
