Daniel's Christmas card

Daniel is sending out a Christmas card to fans who write to him this holiday season. The photo of him and the cast under water was taken on the last day of filming of the second task for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Read Daniel's message (as it was send to Jenna, danradcliffe.com) below and USA Today posted the following:
"We had to share oxygen tanks and get everyone positioned very quickly," he says. "Then, with a friend, I added Christmas-type additions and felt ultimately that antlers and red noses worked best."
The underwater scenes made him a scuba fan. "I would love to try it again, but perhaps in a more exotic location than a tank at Leavesden Studios."
Radcliffe began training for the underwater scenes in November 2003 while shooting The Prisoner of Azkaban. "I have never taken direction at the bottom of a tank. It was very interesting listening to the director (Mike Newell) and then responding to him with signs and signals."
Daniel's message:
“Last year’s appeal was extremely successful and, while I love receiving gifts from all over the world, I am afraid I no longer have enough space in my house to store the wonderful presents I have been sent over the years. A donation- however small- makes a huge difference to the children of Demelza House. “

Please find enclosed the Christmas card I will be sending this year. It was taken on the last day of filming the underwater task, 20 feet down in the tank which was specially constructed at Leavesden Studios. This is one of my favourite photos, which I wanted to share with you. Every single person you see, trained, helped and guided me through this very demanding sequence. I have obviously taken a few liberties with the photo to give it a festive flavour!

A mention of the card in a message to danradcliffe.com's Jenna back in November

Dear Jenna

As I have now responded to over 100,000 letters, I thought it appropriate that I should say ‘thank you’ to everyone who has written to me over the past two years. While it is impossible to respond on a personal level to all the questions I have been asked, I hope the newsletter keeps you up to date with certain aspects of my life. I love playing Harry Potter and I am thrilled that you enjoy the films.

As we approach Christmas, I would like to make an appeal, that this year again, instead of sending presents to me, may I suggest you make a donation to Demelza House – the Children’s Hospice I support. Last year’s appeal was extremely successful and, while I love receiving gifts from all over the world, I am afraid I no longer have enough space in my house to store the wonderful presents I have been sent over the years. A donation – however small – makes a huge difference to the children of Demelza House.

This card will be sent in response to all letters I receive between now and the end of December.

I hope wherever you are in the world you have a happy, fun and above all peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Best wishes,
Daniel

Daniel featured on Ian Brown's album Solarized

Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has mentioned Daniel Radcliffe on the sleeve of his new album called Solarized.
Ian: “Daniel is a great kid. He loves his music and that’s why I put him in the sleeve notes. “He’ll be p***ing himself when he sees it.”
Ian Brown has a cameon role in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He was seen drinking a pint of bitter in the Leaky Cauldron pub. As soon as Ian marched on to the set, Stone Roses fan Daniel came over like a shot. Ian says:
“Every time I turned around he was there asking about the Roses, Oasis and music. I loved the Harry Potter thing. I got to be a movie star for a day. They gave me my own trailer and everything.”
