Daniel Radcliffe wins Celebrity Straight Ally award at the British LGBT Awards
Daniel has won the Celebrity Straight Ally award together with Lorraine Kelly at the British LGBT Awards 2015 which took place on Friday. Voting was possible on their website. Daniel couldn't attend the awards ceremony because he is filming, but there is a video on his official Google+ page in which he thanks for voting but also adds that "It is slightly double edged because it's sad that an award for this needs to excist".

The film is featured in Empire magazine's June issue, on sale on 30th April.
“As much as the monster is his creation, Igor is his creation as well,” explained McAvoy on set. “That was quite exciting. It’s funny, the script, but also really dark, in a cool way."
on set
Synopsis:

James McAvoy is Victor Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man – and the legend – we know today.

Updated(2): Daniel Radcliffe in talks to play Grand Theft Auto creator
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Daniel is in talks to star in Grand Theft Auto (a.k.a. GTA) Game Changer as the creator of the video game. British director Owen Harris will direct the drama which is being made by BBC Films BBC Factual. James Wood wrote the script for the project, which was previously titled Rockstar Games (the title could change again). Jim Spencer is producing while Mark Hedgecoe will exec produce.

Daniel will play Sam Houser, the British co-founder and president of Rockstar Games, the company behind GTA as well as games such as Max Payne and Red Dead.

Update: 20th April. The Hollywood Reporter has made changes in their last article regarding this project. The title is Game Changer not Grand Theft Auto and the film will be made by BBC Factual.
Update: 21st April. It's confirmed on Daniel's official Google+ page ("Happy to share the news...") and by the BBC. The film will be 90 minutes long. Bill Paxton plays Jack Thompson. The docudrama will be made for BBC Two.
In the first decade of the 21st century, Houser and Rockstar Games came under repeated attacks from activist attorney Jack Thompson. Thompson was an unorthodox Florida attorney who was already attacking media companies for pushing rap and sex onto the airwaves when he turned his attention to what he saw as an obsession of glorifying violence in the video game industry. GTA was one of his favorite targets. He was disbarred in 2008 for inappropriate behavior.
The movie is based on a book by David Kushner titled Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto. Filming is slated to begin 20th April.
