Upcoming: The Stage Chronicles podcast
Daniel will be on The Stage Chronicles podcast next year, a popular theatre/performance podcast hosted by Thomas Martin, featuring interviews with Broadway, West End, and local talent and more. Their new season starts in January.

More interviews have appeared online from the Merrily We Roll Along proshot press junket. It looks like it was an international junket. There are shorter clips, from Fabián W. NBC has released the premiere date for The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. It's monday 23rd February 2026. On that day it's a one-hour premiere of two back-to-back episodes. Time: 8 p.m. ET. The following week it will move to its regular timeslot on Monday 2nd March at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Daniel is returning to Broadway! He will star in Every Brilliant Thing, Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe’s solo play featuring audience participation. Previews start at the Hudson Theatre on 21st February 2026 ahead of opening night on 12th March. The thirteen week only engagement runs through 24th May. Merrily We Roll Along Broadway film to premiere at Hamptons International Film Festival
It has been announced that the world premiere of the Merrily We Roll Along proshot film will take place at the Hamptons International Film Festival. It will be their closing night film on sunday 12th October. For more information visit hamptonsfilmfest.org.

A short post. We can scratch Batso off of the projects list. Back in 2024 it was announced that Daniel was set to play Dean Caldwell but Deadline has now shared the news that Walton Goggins and Lewis Pullman will take over two of the main roles. Jessica

Back in April it was announced that a filmed version of the Merrily We Roll Along Broadway revival was sold to Sony Pictures Classics, they acquired worldwide rights. I had not shared that here yet.
Theatrical release plans for the proshot of the musical haven't been revealed but... broadwayworld.com has now pointed out that it's listed on AMC Theatres' website which means it most likely gets a US release on 5th December 2025 the way it looks now. Once I know more info regarding a possible release in the UK and NL I will update this post.
Update: 16th July 2025. It will indeed be a worldwide release by Sony Pictures Classics in collaboration with Fathom Entertainment.

Celebrities sign open letter to save national LGBTQ+ suicide lifeline
Public figures including Daniel have signed an open letter to call on the administration and Congress to restore and protect funding for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline’s LGBTQ+ Youth Specialized Services in the fiscal year 2026 budget. The letter is set up by The Trevor Project. This happened after they heard that the federal government in the US has proposed to eliminate all funding beginning on 1st October 2025. NBC Comedy pilot gets title: The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins
Back in March it was released that Daniel joined an untitled NBC comedy pilot. It has now been given the title The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. Principal photography has already started. We don't know yet when the series will premiere.
