Hieronder nog de teaser trailer van 40 seconden voor de Merrily We Roll Along Broadway proshot film. Hij was vanaf 14 mei in de bioscoop ook al was het geen grote release. 

Na de release in Amerika komt de Broadway proshot versie van Merrily We Roll Along naar Nederland. De trailer is in feite dezelfde als de originele trailer. Vanaf 14 mei is de film te zien in de bioscoop. De release lijkt niet heel groot. O.a te zien bij Kinepolis: kinepolis.nl/merrily, Vue, vuecinemas.nl en Pathé, pathe.nl. Er is ook een handige lijst via filmladder.nl.

The Merrily We Roll Along proshot film arrives on VoD in the US, currently on Apple TV and Prime Video. To celebrate the digital release, playbill.com has shared the full Old Friends scene with Jonathan, Lindsay and Daniel. Oh and check this Instagram reel by Prime Video.

Daniel attended (with more cast members) a screening of the Merrily We Roll Along proshot at Hudson Theatre in New York yesterday. Daniel reunited with Tom Felton at the event. Check also this clip from Daniel and one from Sony Pictures Classics.

More interviews have appeared online from the Merrily We Roll Along proshot press junket. It looks like it was an international junket. There are shorter clips, from Fabián W. Waintal, and Sony Pictures Classics, the distributor (added their full interview below), and Magic Radio: underrated musicals and cast recordings plus Sondheim. Then there's also Hits Radio: Paddington, Ketchup on pizza. And Fandango: movie-going experience, Rotten Tomatoes: TV recommendations. Sony Pictures Classics has released the trailer for the Merrily We Roll Along proshot film. They release it in cinemas in collaboration with Fathom Entertainment. Worldwide release on 5th December.

It has been announced that the world premiere of the Merrily We Roll Along proshot film will take place at the Hamptons International Film Festival. It will be their closing night film on sunday 12th October. For more information visit hamptonsfilmfest.org.

Back in April it was announced that a filmed version of the Merrily We Roll Along Broadway revival was sold to Sony Pictures Classics, they acquired worldwide rights. I had not shared that here yet.

Theatrical release plans for the proshot of the musical haven't been revealed but... broadwayworld.com has now pointed out that it's listed on AMC Theatres' website which means it most likely gets a US release on 5th December 2025 the way it looks now. Once I know more info regarding a possible release in the UK and NL I will update this post.

Update: 16th July 2025. It will indeed be a worldwide release by Sony Pictures Classics in collaboration with Fathom Entertainment.

Update: 24th September 2024. The top-selling silent auction lot was a pair of sneakers worn onstage and signed by Daniel Radcliffe, which raised $11,500.
